OC Moms -Trike 41- We can make a difference

As a mother of two healthy children i am so blessed to have them both in my life everyday. Unfortunately there are a lot of children and families out there not so lucky. When i first read that 41 children a day are diagnosed with cancer it touched my heart.  That is when i knew i wanted to get involved in the Trike 41 fundraiser and raise money and awareness for children fighting cancer. Our family friends have an 8 year old daughter Adela who has been fighting a rare brain tumor since she was 2 years old. It is a miracle she is still alive. She has spent a lot of time at CHOC hospital and has received a JoyJar herself. The family recently heard about our fundraiser and this is the email i received today from the mother. 

" Its an amazing thing you are doing raising money for pediatric cancer. It means so much to me. I knew Jesse very briefly and broke my heart in a million pieces when I found out she lost the battle to this horrific disease. I see my Adela every day and thank god for people like you raising money for such a great cause. Thank you again."
