So....you may have tried to click on the links for the 4th that I posted this morning and they did not work. That is because I accidentally posted the events for 2010 instead of 2011! But I have the correct list now.....pinky swear.
Here is a list of some great things to do on Monday July 4th:
Anaheim – Disney’s Celebrate American fireworks show 9:30pm
Aliso Viejo – Celebration & Fireworks in Grand Park 6:00 – 9:30pm
Dana Point - Fireworks Cruise 7:30-9:30pm. Enjoy a unique evening of fun on the water, complete with a live Fireworks demonstration and a delicious BBQ buffet dinner!
Dana Point - Fireworks Extravaganza 9:00pm
Fullerton – Annual Festival and Fireworks Show 5:00 - 9:30pm at Fullerton High School stadium. Admission Free, live music, food & games.
Huntington Beach – Parade and Pier Festival, July 2-4th. The 4th will include food, live music and activities, fireworks at 9:00pm.
Irvine – July 4th Spectacular: A Symphonic Tribute to Elvis at Verizon Amphitheater 8:00pm.
Ladera Ranch – Founders Park. Freedom Run (10K, 5K, kids 1K) 6:00am, Parade 10:30am, games, music & activities start at 2pm with fireworks at dusk. All access wristbands are available for $7.00.
Laguna Hills – 4:00-9:30pm. Carnival rides, food, music & crafts. Fireworks at 9:10pm.
Laguna Niguel- Crown Valley Community Park, 29751 Crown Valley Pkwy., Laguna Niguel. 5K run, 10K run/walk & children’s races. Pancake breakfast, free swim & fireworks (9pm at Laguna Niguel Regional Park)
Lake Forest – 5k Run/Walk at 7:30am. Parade at 10:00am.
La Habra – Annual 4th of July Celebration returns with all of its fun! Fireworks, food vendors, live music, games, and more! 5:00-9:30pm
Mission Viejo – Street Faire & Fireworks at Olympiad & Marguerite, Mission Viejo. Food, games & fireworks. 12:00-9:00pm.
Newport Beach – Family fun and games throughout the day with music, food, raffle, carnival games, contests, tournaments, ending with a spectacular fireworks finale at Newport Dunes. 10am-9:00pm.
Newport Beach Cruise – Newport Landing will have 3 cruises for the 4th Of July including the Firework Spectacular evening cruise from 7:00-9:30pm.
San Clemente - Come and enjoy an evening of outstanding fireworks. This event is free and begins at approximately 9:00pm at the San Clemente Pier.
San Juan Capistrano – Games, food, live music and pony rides! 3:00 – 9:30pm at San Juan Capistrano Sports Park.
Tustin - Visitors are welcome to sit in the bleachers or spread out a blanket on the grass. Bring a picnic dinner with your family and friends. The Tustin Boosters will have their snack bar open for drinks, snacks and barbeque items. Live band starts at 6:30pm with fireworks at 9:00pm.
Yorba Linda - Veterans Park-Yorba Linda Middle School. Entertainment begins at 5:00pm, Bring your own lawn chair. Food, music and fantastic firework show. Dogs are not recommended. Fireworks at 9:00pm.
I have lived in Mission Viejo for the last 5 years and absolutely love their street fair. The best part….they have a shuttle so you don’t have to fight for parking only to walk 5 miles with your kids & gear!
