Sofia the First Debuts on Sunday November 18th!

If you have a little girl who loves princesses, you are probably in countdown mode for the premiere of Disney Junior's newest television movie, Sofia the First!

Sofia will be a shift from the traditional Disney Princesses in that she is a young, every day girl. When Sofia's mother marries a king, she is forced to learn the ropes of royalty. Sofia will meet many of the royal princesses before her, including Cinderella and Fauna, Flora and Merryweather (fairies from Sleeping Beauty), who all will help Sofia adapt to her new role as royalty- all while overcoming her new step-sister's jealousy and the Royal Sorcerer's attempt to take over the kingdom.

You might recognize some voices behind the voices in the movie, Sofia the First. Reports have mentioned that Ariel Winter (Modern Family) will be the voice of Sofia, Sarah Ramirez (Grey's Anatomy) will be voicing for Queen Miranda, and other popular names--Wayne Brady and Tim Gunn expected to have rolls in the movie.
