Did you know that, by the age of 3, your child's brain has developed from 25% t0 80% of its capacity? Within that short time period, your child's brain is developing a foundation to understand and process  important tasks such as problem solving and logical thinking. According to the experts at ChildUp, an early learning program for children, "A series of 'critical periods' or 'windows of opportunity' occur during the first years when the brain is most flexible. In particular, the critical period for learning the basis for math and logic is between one and five while the critical period for language development begins at birth. Missing the appropriate stimulations when the windows of opportunity are open doesn't mean that the children will never learn the corresponding skills, but that they will need more time and effort to develop them later"

This is just a small bit of the wealth of information I learned about childhood learning and education when my daughter and started our ChildUp Early Learning Game Cards. The ChildUp program is based on decades of practical positive parenting experience in real life situations and families, backed up by leading worldwide scientific research in early education from the past 10 years.

ChildUp offers a series of efficient solutions and tools in matter of parenting, early childhood development, and early learning: the ChildUp Online Parenting Courses, the ChildUp Early Learning Game Cards, the ChildUp Early Learning Applications, and the ChildUp Early Learning Method.

My daughter is 3 years old, and early education has always been a priority to me. I am always looking for different ways to learn and explore with my daughter. Nurturing my daughter's curiosity and desire for learning is so fun and I love watching master tasks and express her feelings of accomplishment.

I was so excited to learn about ChildUp and the Early Learning Game Cards, because I feel strongly that building the foundation for mathematics should and can be done at an early age. The Teach Your Child to Count to 10 and Teach Your Child to Count to 20 Game Cards.

The Game Cards are designed for children between the ages of 1-5 years. Each pack contains 48 child's cards which are used to teach your child to count and a series of parent's cards which offer help information and advice related to learning your child's cognitive development.

When we first received our cards, I was so interested in reading the content of the parent's cards, that I almost forgot we had an activity to do! My daughter quickly snapped me out of it, "Mom, let's play our cards". I put my parent's cards away for a while and we started our cards. She LOVED THEM!

What I love most about the ChildUp Game Cards is that they are NOT flashcards. My daughter gets bored within seconds if I start waving around flashcards at her. The ChildUp Game Cards are interactive, giving the child and parent an opportunity to engage in learning together and have FUN! When learning is fun, my child thrives. Each card is designed to

teach your child both the number symbol and the corresponding quantity of that number. Therefore, your child isn't just learning to recognize a number through memory, but they are actually LEARNING to count and building the foundation of arithmetic!

The cards are a variety of animated pictures of animals, preventing my child from becoming bored or disinterested. With repetition and consistency being a key to successful learning, we practice with our cards on a daily basis. Sometimes I will even bring in an art project or coloring page to correspond with our game cards. As you will see below, my daughter is very excited about the number 3...because she is now ..3 =)

I highly recommend the ChildUp Early Learning Game Cards. You are your child's first teacher and they thrive off learning by your example. They are easy to use and offer countless hours of meaningful play and learning. "Any moment shared with your children can be one more learning opportunity about the surrounding world, life, nature, arts, technology, science, languages, math, or any other interesting topic. So, if you are looking for optimal intellectual development for your children, dedicating a significant part of your time to be their first teacher will generate unique and lifelong benefits"- ChildUp Learning Method Parent's Card

We have a long flight of stairs to climb each time we leave and return to our apt. My daughter and I count each step in either English, Chinese, or Spanish. This activity has also helped motivate her to walk the stairs herself rather than have me carry her, which is great since I'm pregnant.
