Tanaka Farms is the perfect place in The OC to pick your own pumpkin. Their patch is enormous with an abundance of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. I love taking my kids because they have the best time picking out their own pumpkins . You can stroll around the farm and even visit the petting zoo with your kids. They have a produce stand and also great photo props for pictures.

They also offer tours. This is a must for the full experience. The tour starts in  the U-Pick pumpkin patch, where you can take a wagon ride around the farm to the petting zoo with over 40 animals. Then take the wagon back around our 30 acre farm. The wagon then will stop and you can get lost in our one acre corn maze.  After the maze you will pick your very own vegetables and see how they grow.  They have a 2 acre area of vegetables growing with carrots, onions, green beans, and radishes for the children to pick. At the end of your tour you can pick your very own pumpkin off the vine!
