OC Parks Upcoming Events - Orange County Family Events

OC Parks offers family friendly events all over Orange County. From baby hikes to festivals and more! Here a few upcoming events that may interest some of you.

October 15 – Baby and Me Hike

9 – 11 a.m.

Join us on this hike for anyone carrying a baby in a sling, or backpack or for expectant mothers (Dads welcome, too!) This is a brisk, 2-mile hike with some fairly steep terrain (400-ft. elevation gain). It is important that both children and adults have water, a hat, sunscreen and a snack. Trails are not accessible for strollers.

October 19 – Haunt at Heritage Hill

5 – 10 p.m.

Haunted house, mazes, ghosts, music, classic scary movie screening. Come be a part of this scary tradition!

October 20 – Autumn Harvest Festival

4 – 9 p.m.

Halloween costume parade, games, family entertainment, haunted school house, maze, and Trick or Treating throughout the park. Docents will provide narrative tours in the buildings. Fun for the whole family.

October 27 – Halloween Zoo-tacular! 

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Come join us for some Halloween fun at the OC Zoo! See our animals receive treat-filled pumpkins throughout the day! Activities include kids crafts, trick-or-treating*, scavenger hunt* and face painting (*for children 12 and under). The first 100 children in costume (ages 12 & under) will receive a free gift!
