As Moms we tend to be the decision makers in our households as to where our expendable income is spent. 

- toys for our kids

- clothes for ourselves and family members (most husbands dont shop)

- groceries

- gifts for the holidays and birthdays.

This holiday season we have the opportunity to greatly influence our local economy. Take a stand with your local small businesses, spend the majority of your Holiday budget at your local businesses, get creative with your gift giving to help small business owners boast their bottom line, and keep our jobs local and home grown.

Do you have a great housekeeper? Get a gift card from them and gift it to your mother so she can have a sparkling house at the holidays.

Do you love your massage therapist or chiropracter? Then forget giving a gift certificate to the spa, get your bff and sister a session! We all know that going to a spa its a crap shoot with not knowing the therapist, but we all love a personal recommendation!

Ask your family to get you and your hubs a date night for the holidays... ask them to prepay your sitter for the night, get your a gift card to a local restaurant and local bakery.
