Irvine Park Railroad’s 7th Annual Pumpkin Patch 2012 

Irvine Park Railroad’s 7th Annual Pumpkin Patch is finally open! The Pumpkin Patch is open daily at 10:00 am, beginning September 22nd through October 31st. Irvine Park Railroad is located inside of Irvine Regional Park in the foothills of Orange, California.

My kids and their friends had the best time visiting the railroad this past Sunday. My son, loved the train and wanted to ride it over and over. They all got their face painted (see below) and got their very own balloon animals while they waited.

The Pumpkin Patch is located in Locomotive Loop and Miner's Meadow just behind the train station. Thousands of pumpkins, in all shapes and sizes, fill Locomotive Loop. All visitors are sure to find the perfect pumpkin! They even have wagons the kids can load up witht heir pumpkins. My son wanted to buy at least 10. He had to choose a few of his favorite.  The kids played forever in the maze - it is much bigger this year! It's also located next to the games where every child walks away a winner!

This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include:  Train rides, hay rides, panning for gold, a child-friendly haunted house, a hay maze, a moon bounce, carnival games, cookie decorating, John Deere tractor racers, face painting (weekends only), picture stands and great food. Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends.
