Celebrate a true California Christmas on the sand at The Beachcomber Café during Crystal Cove’s 21st Annual Tree Lighting December 2nd. Inviting locals and press to enjoy complimentary hot cider and freshly baked cookies, the Beachcomber is delighted to carry on this favorite community tradition on the beach.
Carrying on last year’s Holiday addition to the menu, the California Christmas Cocoa will be available for the entire month of December at the Beachcomber Café. The rich and creamy cocoa with a cozy Christmas twist is served with Baileys Irish Cream, hot cocoa, whipped cream, a candy cane and a Reindeer Peep. The California Christmas Cocoa can be customized to suit both the warmest of SoCal winter days and the coolest of Christmas evenings—order it hot or iced.
“The Beachcomber is looking forward to celebrating our 11th year of welcoming the holidays with Crystal Cove’s Annual Tree Lighting,” commented The Beachcomber Founder, Doug Cavanaugh. “We’re excited for the community to enjoy the occasion with us.”
Crystal Cove Alliance’s 21st Annual Tree Lighting on December 2nd is comprised of an entire day of festive activities celebrating the season: A Holiday Beach Bazaar, Caroling, Arts and Crafts as well as a visit by Santa Clause himself. The activities and celebration begins at 10 a.m. The Beachcomber Café will begin hosting complimentary hot cider and delicious cookies for all revelers beginning at 3pm.
