Technology Balance

As a mom of an infant I find myself struggling with how much technology to expose him to.  This is especially hard in our home as my husband and I own a computer consulting company and have every geek toy you could think of within reach.  Kaden's two favorite toys to try to get ahold of are my iPhone and the remote to our TV.

I often joke that eventually children will be born with "Blackberry thumb" in preparation for the continuous texting that they will inevitably be doing.  But seriously, in a world where even adults find themselves spending more time communicating behind screens and keyboards instead of face to face how do we as moms create a balance for our children?
