The last thing I expected to hear when my doctor's nurse called me yesterday was, "your glucose tolerance test came back abnormal". "oookkkayyy", I replied hesitantly, "what does THAT mean'. Last week marks my 4th visit to the Labor and Delivery unit at Mission Hospital. Doing the math here, I only have one child so the other 3 visits were due to complications with my pregnancies (2 of them are with my current pregnancy).
