My name is Kim and I'm looking to meet other mommies that have children that were born in 2010-2011. I have one baby girl name Lauren who was born at the end of August. I can't wait to meet other mommies that are going through similar situations, be able to bounce ideas, ask questions and at the same time meet friends for myself and my baby! I work as a Marketing Director for a property management company based out of Irvine. I'm currently on maternity leave but plan on going back to work after the New Year.

I haven't been on here forever, but I came on today because I got an email notification about a new Mommy-and-me music class. Unfortunately they still don't have anything on the weekends for us working Moms :(
Anyways, how are you? How's Lauren coping with toddlerhood? Paul is still a pretty easy-going kid, except for the occasional temper tantrums that have begun to creep up recently. We just got annual passes to Disneyland and have taken him there a couple of times. He LOVED it!

Hi Kim. Hopefully we can meet soon one weekend! Would love to get to know you as we do have similar backgrounds. I take Kylie to the park in our neighborhood on late afternoons some weekends and some Saturday or Sunday mornings I do RSM lake walks. I'll email you next time I am going.

Geez! I swear we will meet one of these days. My cold that Paul shared with me has a lingering cough...I was hacking all weekend and I didn't want to bring any germs to the music class. I was so bummed :(
How did Lauren like it? When we went to the first one Paul couldn't interact as much as the older kids with the instruments and shakers, but he just sat there grinning the whole time. It was so cute! Oh and he LOVED banging on a drum!
I was so bummed that we couldn't come. I was hoping Paul would be over his cold, but he was still really congested and I didn't want to risk getting anyone else sick.
I started with just rice cereal at breakfast and then worked up to breakfast & dinner and he just started eating food 3x a day about a week ago. My Dr said to feed him before giving him milk, but some mornings I bf first if he has been asleep for a long time (BUT that hasn't been a problem lately...he's awake all throughout the night again).
Breakfast: Oatmeal and apples
Lunch: Veggie
Dinner: Veggie and fruit
At first I was heating everything & I was making all of his food, but now I only heat it if it was in the fridge or freezer and I only get it barely lukewarm (except for the oatmeal) because I don't want him to get too used to really warm food if I need to feed him if we are out or at a restaurant or something.
Who knows what I'm "supposed" to be doing, but this seems to be working for us :)
