Hope you are liking the OC so far! We moved here about 1.5yrs ago from Minnesota! I saw some of your postings that you were looking to take on an additional child... This is a long ways out but I will be looking for a nanny and would prefer to partner up with a stay at home Mom like your self. I have a almost 5yr old son that will be starting Kindergarten this year and then I'm due in early December with our second.. I won't be needing care until mid March of 2013 but just wanted to toss it out there in case you will be looking for nanny work again.

Omg I didn't even see your response until today! Welcome to O.C., where the weather is great and so many things to do! :) I hope you guys are settled in by now. We decided to renew our lease for a year here in Anaheim...we had so much going on to try and find another place in a short period of time....6 months flew right past us I tell ya! We are maybe 15-20min away from one another! So we must meet up for play dates, park/beach days and or discover the new towns together! I'm signing up for mommy and me yoga in Tustin. It's $60 a month every Monday from 10-10:50am ($12 a class) If you go under events and look under April, you'll see what I'm talking about. It'll be fun if you can join!

Living by the beach! That'll be a big change from AZ...a nice one :) Where or what area in specific? Will you guys be renting or buying? We are in the market to move closer to my husband's job since traffic is a nightmare here! He works in LA (West Hollywood) but I refuse to move near or around the city. I don't find it family friendly. I'm just glad we rented for 6 months to get a feel for the areas we like and a chance to see where we would want to live.

Hi Jennifer! You are going to LOVE OC!!!! I honestly HATED AZ It's my hubby's state....I'm from Dallas, TX. We lived in Gilbert, AZ before moving to CA. I'd love to get together when you move...Currently, we live in Anaheim. Where in OC will you be moving to? I plan to sign up for mommy and me classes soon (around the time you'll be moving!) and I'm currently looking for a Yoga studio that I can do with my daughter who turns 6 months Feb 18th :) Once you get settled in, please get in contact with me.
