- I am a physician and first time mom to an amazing little girl. I am loving motherhood more than anything else and looking for fun activities my daughter can share with other children. I would love to meet other fun moms since most of my friends haven't started having kids yet and I don't have many people to have playdates with (can't exactly tote along a 1 year old to "girls night").

Hi Gilda, I'd love to meet up and get our girls together. Our schedule is pretty flexible, the only days we can't make are Tues & Fridays. I'm not working right now so I'm available during the day but we can also do weekends. Right now mornings are typically the best time for us.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year! I am so sorry we never planned anything. With the holidays and being out of town the last 2 months went by so quickly. Let's get together really soon, maybe not this week but the following and let's plan on a day that we can meet so that we work it out. Not sure if you are working or have any days off. We can meet in the morning maybe grab cofee and go to the park or I could go to one of those library times (I think at Hunington Library).
As for swimming yes I do work with little kids. Our team is from age 4-18 but I coach the 8 year olds and teach privates to all ages especially the younger ones. I am working with a 2 year old but my roceomended age is 3 and up. I like to teach the strokes starting with freestyle of course. Before the age of 3 it's a little harder. At age 2-3 kids are really learning floating, bubbles, kickers, how to turn over, putting their face in, they can push and move little in the water.

Thanks for the message! My daughter, Lauren, just turned 2 last week so yes our kiddos are very close in age. I am always looking for friends for her to play with especially girlies since most of her friends are boys so we are totally up for a playdate. What area do you live around? We live in Irvine to give you an idea where we would be coming from. Looking forward to hearing form you. Let me know your thoughts!
Oh wow. I bet that can be difficult!
I have 1 little girl I nanny for. M-F about 50 hours. They drop her off at my house in the AM--which works out well because my little one still wakes up at random times :-) And I take her home in the evening--we spend a few hours a day at her house. We sign up the kids for the same classes/events during the week as well.
