City of San Juan Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony- Saturday December 1st 2012 at 4:00pm
Join us for our annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Historic Town Center Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a pre-show including choir, orchestra and dance performances by local high school students. The main show begins at 5:00 p.m. with a production directed and choreographed by David Green of Musical Theater University along with a special performance featuring Renee Bond. Camp Spooky at Knotts Berry Farm
This daytime, non-scare celebration of cheer rather than fear is the social event of the season with shows, activities and of course, trick or treating. Kids can take part in the “Monster Dance Party and Costume Parade,” sing and dance along with the Peanuts gang at the “Peanuts Halloween Spooktacular,” walk through the “Haunted Harvest” cornfield maze and even visit “Linus’s Foam-tastic Pumpkin Patch.Visit Knotts Berry Farm for more information.

It is one of our FAVORITE places to bring our kids in the fall. The pumpkin patch is free to enter and there are a ton of fun activities for kids of all ages ( tons of pumpkins, a hay maze, a not-so-scary haunted house, moon bounce houses, cookie decorating and more. Trick or Treat on Main Street in Huntington Beach
Halloween Fest on Main Street Time: 4 -8 p.m. Cost: Free. Kids can Trick or Treat with local merchants in downtown HB and enjoy free activities such as Pony Rides and Petting Zoo. Bouncy houses, Giant Slide, Drekko the Dragon, 40 foot Obstacle Course, Police and Fire Departments with their vehicles include an antique fire truck. Face Painting, Costume Contests, HBoo Walk of Chills and Thrills on Walnut & Main Street, plus a whole lot more to see. This event is open to the public… so please come and enjoy. The event begins at 11:00 am, with an awards presentation at 2:00pm and a 3:00 pm conclusion. DJ, Al Beck will be playing some of the “We Five” Classic Hits throughout the event. Jerry and Debbie Burgan of the “We Five” Band will also be on-hand for a “meet and greet” from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the afternoon.
