About OC Mommies
OC Mommies was founded in 2010. We are a social network for moms in Orange County. Our kids are of all ages. Members of OC Mommies enjoy a variety of activities in Orange County that are fun for both moms and kids. Our activities include holiday potlucks, Gymboree Playdates, Educational Presentations, Fitness walks, Moms Nights Out and Much More. Our members take advantage of our active discussion board and entertaining-informative blog. We frequently offer giveaways, contests and discounts with local retailers. All around, joining OC Mommies is a guaranteed good time!

Is there a cost to join?
No, OC Mommies is free to our members.
Is there a time commitment I have to make?
You choose how active you would like to be. You can attend events several times a week or once a month. We want to offer our moms as much flexibility as they want.
When do you usually meet?
We have a great calendar of events (only accessible to our members). Our members can post events as they please. We have several weekday events, weekend events, and evening events.
Attending Events Seems Intimidating. How Do I Know Who I am Looking For etc?
The great thing about OC Mommies, is we are all in the same boat. At some point, we all joined without knowing anyone and everyone knows that. When you attend an event you will be greeted with open arms. We do encourage you to get out and attend events, it’s the best way to meet each other.
What Do I Do If I have a Question for Other Moms?
Use our active discussion board! Our moms are always there to lend a helping hand?
What Else Do you Offer Online?
We offer frequent fun contests sponsored by local retailers. We also have a lacation consultant and pediatric advisor available to answer questions. And our favorite feature of OC Mommies is our blog roll! Read what moms are up to and the funny stories they have to share in their "adventures in parenting"
About the Coordinators
Beth and Stephanie met when their first children were born. The both faced the challenges of being first time moms and realized that many other moms probably felt the same way. They decided to reach out to other moms in the area and started OC Mommies.
Beth is a mother of two-Colin and Emmerson and Stephanie is a mother of two- Reagan and Campbell.

Fundraising Efforts
OC Mommies participate in various fundraising efforts throughout the year. We have joined efforts with- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk, March of Dimes- March for Babies and more.

Dr. Sivan Kochinski- Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Sivan Kochinski is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 24137). She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; during this time, she worked in the Child Anxiety Disorders Clinic and Autism and Developmental Disorders Clinic. Sivan has extensive experience providing evaluation, treatment, and consultative services for children and adolescents from age 2-18 who have ADHD, an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or an anxiety disorder (e.g., separation anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobia, selective mutism, tic disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder). With regard to ASD, she has conducted numerous neurodevelopmental assessments in the context of a multidisciplinary team for children referred due to developmental delays. Furthermore, she is trained in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and has led parent education groups designed to train parents of children with autism in conducting PRT. Sivan grew up in North Orange County and currently resides in Irvine with her husband and children.
Mia Bella Pediatrics Team
Mia Bella Pediatrics was founded in 2006 by Dr. Suzy McNulty and Dr. Jennifer Stahl with the goal of providing the same kind of medical care for other people's children as they wanted for their own. They feel that their office should be a "medical home" where patients are truly members of an extended family. They strive to establish long term relationships with children and their families that will last through each stage of their early life, from birth to 21 years of age. Dr's McNulty and Stahl are both mothers of two daughters each, so they understand the stresses and joys of motherhood. In 2009, Dr. Krista Braun-Young joined Mia Bella bringing to the practice her twin expertise (she has one year old twin boys in addition to her two older daughters). She has been an excellent addition to the practice, sharing in Dr. McNulty's and Stahl's philosophy of "doctor moms."

Danielle Gauss, Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Danielle is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, Labor Assistant, AHA CPR instructor, and author. Most importantly, Danielle is a mother who has been through the birth experience twice. She has received her education from the UCSD Perinatal Education program associated through UCSD Medical School.
She is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant through the International Board of Lactation Examiners and is certified through DONA International (Doulas of North America). Danielle is a certified childbirth educator and over the last 8 years has taught at several Orange County hospitals.
Over the course of her career she has assisted in numerous births and helped educate thousands of women about the birth process and breastfeeding needs of their infants.
She is privileged to have the opportunity to be able to assist so many families through the hurdles of this fabulous journey we call parenthood.
Danielle has been married for 10 years and is the mother of two beautiful girls.
