I just joined in mid July and I love it!  I finally found a place for swim lessons that actually fits my work schedule.  I have gone to the group classes since we joined and all of them so far have been excellent.  I love Nygel's Pilates Mat class, I have to be sure to schedule some time when I go back to work.  Kids world is nice, but they often have tons of kids in there!  The last time I took my girl there, they forgot to tell me that they gave her a bottle, they didn't log it on the clipboard either.  I thought nothing of it, thinking I still had a full travel bottle only to go out to dinner and not have one in the bag.  Thank goodness Walgreens was close by.

You will enjoy the club, it is well worth the money and the pool is a nice place to relax and meet other families.

I have been a member at RCS for a year and a half and, for me, it has been completely worth it! Just from the fitness aspect alone it's amazing...like it's designed to meet the needs of athletes but also accommodates any level of fitness. I haven't spent too much time in group classes because I go in the afternoons too. But I know several others who go to the classes and just love them. I think the reason they don't have many afternoon classes is because a lot of moms are at home with napping children and everyone else either works out in the morning or after work.

I regularly use the club for getting computer work done - I can put the kids in care and sit in the cafe area near the TV's to utilize the free wi-fi. (Wi-fi really only extends to the lobby and cafe area and a small area of the patio.)

Hubby and I do date nights there frequently - we love the restaurant and patio. The food is very good. The menu doesn't change very often so it can get a little old, but we love that we can get a date night whenever we feel like it even on the spur of the moment. We also do jacuzzi date nights out by the pool. Sometimes we'll go sit by the pool during the day while the kids are in care; other times we'll bring them along with us.

Nonmember guests can use the restaurant and the spa, but they pay $25 per day to use anything else which I think is SUPER LAME - you can't just bring friends or grandparents along to the pool (unless you upgrade to a higher level membership where you get the guest passes included).

They have family activities planned regularly where we can bring the kids. Like, they sometimes have a clown come to do free face-painting and balloon animals during Taco Tuesday and they do family movie nights at the pool, etc..

My boys (4 yrs and 18 mos) absolutely LOVE Kids World. They did not love it in the beginning, but once I started getting them there regularly rather than sporadically, they adjusted wonderfully. It is by no means a perfect place (I have had minor items get lost 2 or 3 times, one time my younger one didn't get his wet diaper changed at all during the 2 hours he was there), but it far exceeds anything I have ever seen for fitness center childcare. The simple fact is that there are a lot of children there at times. I have never personally been concerned for my own children's safety or that they are not being cared for well. I would say it's definitely important to make an effort to get to know the Kids World staff well. It is extremely busy there in the mornings - I started by only taking my kids in the afternoons between 12:30 and 4:30 where they got the most attention (only a few kids there...rarely more than 5) and got to know the staff members well (and the staff got to know them!) Now I can take them anytime and they go running in; barely saying goodbye to me. For someone like me who likes a lot of breaks from the daily routine, the childcare alone has been worth every single penny.

The spa is also great, but it is pricey. I can put the kids in care and go get a pedicure when I want. There's a woman Charlotte (Charley) that gives great massages!

Um...pretty sure I've said enough already, LOL! Anyone can feel free to contact me privately with any other questions too. :) 949-735-0136

we belong there and we love it too. My daughter who is 8months old took some time adjusting to kids world but she does fairly well there now. The staff seems to be really attentive to the babies.  We have been members for 4 months and I have yet to go to the gym. But we use the pool nearly every day and we eat at the restaurant once a week as well. My older son takes raquetball classes there and my middle son takes swim lessons there. If I am feeling stressed out I usually go to the locker room and use the steam room and then sit in the jacuzzi  and I feel so much better. It's a nice experience there.

Great - thanks, Kelly!  That is good to know about the no-classes thing between 1-4:30.  I feel like a lot of clubs do that - why is that?  At least the Kid World is open the whole time, unlike some other clubs!  We spent some time on a "free pass" there this weekend and really liked it.  It is pricey, but I'm starting to feel like it might be worth it. :)  Any one else out there have other feedback?  Thanks!

I joined because of Kid's World, and it seems to have a more private club feel.  I absolutely love it.  It took my 18 mo. old daughter a little time to get used to it.  But she does well there now, and it's kind of become my oasis.  it's cool just to hang out by the pool or go to the restauraunt, too.  The classes aren't so busy that you can't get in, which is good.  Some of them are a little hard core.  But the one thing that I would change is that there are no classed between 1 and 4:30, which is when I like to go, So I go to the treadmills and machines during that time.  But all in all I think it's worth it and I'm glad I joined!

Hi all -

We are thinking of Joining RCS and would love to get some feedback!   How do your kids like Kids World?  Is it always super buys?  How are the classes?  Again - are they super busy?  What things do you like about it?  What things do you wish were different?  Thank you so much for your feedback!!
