HI Girls. Unfortunately My OCMOMMIES email is not working and hasnt for some time. So I am making us a group on here as well as on our Facebook group.
Thankyou to Crystal, Jen V and Tasha for meeting up with me on April 1 to discuss the new plans for Spring and Summer! We start in May so let's get some great events on the calendar.
So far here are our sub groups
1) Moms of infant-12 month olds WEEKEND playdates **Dahlia and ??**
2) Moms of infant-12 month olds Anytime/weekday playdates ***Tasha and ??**
2) Moms of 12-20 months WEEKEND playdates **Denise M and??**
3) Moms of 12month- 20 months Anytime/weekday playdates ** Ria, Jen V, Nequisha, Annie**
4) Moms of 2 (toddlers and infants) WEEKEND playdates ** Christalle and ??
5) Moms of 2 (toddlers and infants) anytime/weekday playdates. ** Christalle and Natalie**
6) Moms of toddlers 2-4yr old (any takers?)

Looking for 2 mama's to co host a weekend playdate for 6mos olds -2 year olds.. anyone interested? Hoping to get it posted for the end of this month!

Thankyou so much for volunteering to help with the planning committee. Unfortunately my entire OC Mommies account is a little off, I cant send emails sometimes, and I cant really receive them.

Basically here is what we need.
Beginning May 1 until Sept 1 each mama and their partner will post up 1 playdate a month for your group. This should be at a time and place of your convienience. So if you live in Mission Viejo, pick your fav park there, if you live in HB pick your fav there. Or if you just have a favorite spot to go to with your little one just post that up!
The post should be titled "OC Mommies meet greet and play for babies under 6 months" Or "OC Mommies meet greet and play for moms of 2 (baby and toddler"
And the description should be soemthing like
Are you new to OC Mommies? Not sure where to start or how to make friends? Join me for play and funa This week we are going to _____ ABC____ park.
Come meet other mommies, and let the little ones play.
** as we all know babies and toddlers have their own schedule, we will be there some time between 930 and 10 am but may have to leave early if the little ones are having an off day, so try and meet us there early! **
(or something to that effect so that if you are running late or have to leave early, no one can complain ;o))The best way to go about this is to always go with your Mom partner, because if no one else shows up you at least have a buddy to have fun with!
The best way to get moms to your event is to head to the HOME page of OCM and scroll to the bottom where you will find the members that have "recently joined" Click on their profile and send them a quick message.
"Hi Jan, Welcome to OCMommies, I am on the New Member Welcome committee, and would love to meet you and your little one. Check our events board out for our next playdate! Hope to see you soon!" This gets the ball rolling, and breaks the ice for them to feel comfortable coming.
