What to do for a 1st time Father's Day gift?
Hi mommies! Being that it's our first time having a baby...what do you do for Father's Day when my baby girl is 9 months old? Any ideas on gifts? I was hoping to get or make something from her (hand or foot print) so that he can put it on his office desk, but I'm completely in the blank on what to do. Any and all suggestions are welcomed!

One thing we've done is a canvas with their hand prints on it - easy to make since it's just the canvas and paint. :)

Check out Etsy.com for some great ideas.... I did a keychain with 3 different layers, each layer a different metal. Each layer is stamped with our names. The smallest layer is our sons name, then the middle layer is mine, then the bottom layer is my husband's. I had more trouble with what to do for our "grandpa" gifts from my son... Good luck!

I bought large wooden letters from Michael's that spelled out Dad. I took a picture of my little guy holding the letters and put it in a frame. Here is an example- http://pinterest.com/pin/133630313913181563/. This year i am making a photo book on Shutterfly. http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-books/custom-path. They are having a sale on the books that ends June 6th. Good Luck!

hi dahlia: last year i got my husband one of these "easel art" prints with photos of kasra and for the text i wrote "happy fathers day 2011". he keeps it on his desk at work :-)
