Hi Ladies! I've gone through Kevin's toys to make room for the new Christmas stuff he'll get and I have a box of gently-used toys and books to get rid of. Does anyone know of a place that accepts USED toy donations?
The Salvation Army, etc. only take new toys.
Thanks!!
Nicole

Permalink Reply by Nicole G. on December 4, 2011 at 3:11pm I could...I'm not really looking to sell it though...I'd rather give it to a family in need if possible...It's just a few baby toys and some little books.
Check with the Orangewood Foundation. They have a resource center for foster kids who have aged out of the system (where they can come and do laundry, use computers for job searches, etc), and they might be able to use it because some of those kids have kids. They might be able to use it either there for the kids to play with while their parents are working on things or else to let those parents have.

Did you find a place to take your used toys? We are doing clean-out today to make room for the new Christmas toys and had the same question about where to donate them. Would love to hear where you ended up taking yours! Thanks!
