Uppababy Rumble Seat and Piggyback
Anyone have any feedback on using the Uppababy Rumble Seat and/or Piggyback? I'm debating purchasing one or both of these to use now that I'm expecting my second, and wanted to hear if anyone had any experience with them. My son is 26 months now and not a big fan of the stroller in general, so I'm thinking he would probably enjoy the Piggyback, but I'm thinking I might need the Rumble Seat as well for the long days where we're out and he needs to be able to nap in the stroller (though this rarely happens). I love the idea of these -- that I don't have to buy another stroller and I also have the flexibility from going back and forth from a double to a single -- but if they're not as great as they sound, I'd rather put the money toward a double stroller. Any thoughts?

I've never used the rumble seat but I have borrowed my friend's piggyback board. My daughter is 26 months and when we tried it she was still under 2. Its hit or miss with her now but I do have to say she likes it better when there is someone in the main seat and they are facing each other (i.e. one on the board). My friend that owns the piggyback says her son loves it, he just turned 4.
They are both pricey items otherwise I'd suggest both so you have options.
With the rumble seat I do know you lose some basket space.

Thanks, Karen. I'm thinking I'll start with the piggyback and see how it goes from there. Even if I have to buy both, it's still less than most doubles! And I agree, I love the stroller, so I'm sure I'd miss it if I had to go with something else.

My 2.5 year old son loves riding in the rumble seat. You do lose basket space and it is difficult to nap in it since it doesn't recline but I use it much more than our double stroller for shopping and quick trips.
