Speech Therapy Recommendations
I am looking for a Speech Therapy location for my son -- 19 months. He was evaluated at CHOC Hospital today and they recommended that he receive Speech Therapy 2 times per week. I live in Costa Mesa and have Blue Cross PPO insurance. I don't want enroll him in a center that does not take my insurance. Please advise on recommendations.

I know the gals over at OC Pediatric Speech are amazing. Especially Miche'. (sp?) I don't know about insurance, though, you need to ask them. Good luck!

hi minh - how far are you willing to travel? my daughter (now 3) was a speech pt at United Cerebral Palsy / Life Without Limits in Irvine off Jeffrey and it was incredible. We loved it there. Many of the patients I work with go to Barbara Moore at Speech pathology Associates but that's also in Irvine, I think. Newport Language recently acquired Providence Speech, and Newport has a bunch of locations but some of the members I work with haven't been as happy with them. don't have any personal experience at any other place but UCP.

yes, Minh - the clinic i (I'm a speech pathologist assistant there) work at has two offices and the one I'm at is the Fountain valley office. It is pretty much on the border of Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley. It is called Children's Learning Connection. They take most insurances and PPO and are a large referral base for cases from regional center's 0-3 years. They do clinic and in home therapy and have many Speech Therapists as well as OT and PT. here is their site: http://www.childrenslearningconnection.com/
