Soccer Players?
Any moms into playing soccer? If so, do you play for fun or competition? Which leagues are you a part of?
I played years ago and would love to get back into it for fun.

Thanks for the info Kelli. Looks like it would be worth a try. I posted a player ad on the site (that's free to do) and sent an email to some of the teams with ads to see what they respond with. We also have the option of forming a team for next season (Spring) if we were interested. Fall registration already passed. Might be fun to just get a group of ladies together to practice too.

No responses on the ad but I did email some of the teams and have received some generic responses. With my families recent loss I haven't had much time to respond or to meet with any of the teams.

I would definitely be interested! It's been a really long time, but I grew up playing and would love to get back into it. I have about 5 other girls who are interested, we tried to put a team together for the City of Irvine 7 v 7 league for Fall, but were a few girls shy unfortunately. Maybe for the winter season we can put a team together if you guys are interested in playing!

A friend of mine in Ladera Ranch needs a guy and a girl to join a co-ed team. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll send you her info. I don't know any details about the league, when they play, etc.

Not much in terms of requirements, just need enough girls to field a team, to sign up for a City of Irvine recreation league card, and have a team captain submit the application/ roster. The fall season sign ups are over, but the winter season will probably open up in a couple months. I'll keep my eye on the City's website and post a request for players when sign ups are open, hopefully we can get at least 9 girls or so to field a 7 vs 7 team.
