I am currently trying to decide between the sleepy wrap and moby wrap.  For anyone who has used one of these wraps, which do you prefer and why?

I had the Moby wrap but didn't really like it.  I had a hard time wrapping it and getting it tight enough, so I never felt like my baby was secure.  I think maybe I'm just not a wrap kind of girl!

i had the moby and I loved it, but it was a pain in the butt to get on, and yet with all the variations was the most secure for my son at all his stages.
Contact Giselle at Granola Babies (she is an OCM also and has a profile here) her store sells EVERY style of wrap, sling and carrier out there!

I had the Moby, and loved it when my daughter was a newborn....She would sleep great in it, and it allowed my hands to be free (she wanted to be held constantly until about 3 months)..... but yes, its sort of pain to get on- not something you can do out unless you want it dragging all over the ground.

I ended up with Moby, bjorn and now the ergo though... so if I could go back, If I could have only gotten one, I would say Ergo since I've used it for the longest span- my daughter is 13 months now, and I can still throw her in there if needed. But they each have different functions sort of, so it depends on childs age and use

Thanks for your input, ladies.  Natalie - Granola Babies is fantastic!  I'm going to head over there soon to try out both wraps.  Jennifer - I love the Ergo too, and have gotten so much use out of it with both of my kids.  Just looking to try a wrap this time around for the newborn stage so I can have my hands free while keeping up with my other two kids :)

Sleepy wrap all the way!!  They changed their company name though.  Milkalilcious still carries them but i cant remember what they are called now.  I liked it better because it is stretchier and softer so i could tie it tighter and they always felt super secure in there.  Both girls pretty much lived in that, Ofelia still does :-)
