Preschool Rec Near Tustin

Just wanted to tell you all that if you live near North Tustin/Irvine I have heard GREAT things about St. Paul's. Since I am a teacher, I emailed various Kinder teachers in Irvine and Tustin and they all mentioned St. Paul's. I put Brooklyn on the waitlist for next year. She'll be 3 in October, so she'll go (hopefully...on wait list) Tu/TH for 2.5 hours. I took a tour and loved the environment and pedagogy. Not sure you knew that the Kinder DOB cut off has been changed, but St. Paul's will stick with the December 4th cut off which is nice:

"As you may be aware the State of California Department of Education has voted to change the school entry age for kindergarten. This will be done in gradual steps:

Beginning in 2012 children must be 5 by November 1

Beginning in 2013 children must be 5 by October 1

Beginning in 2014 children must be 5 by September 1

Many questions have arisen concerning how that might affect your child’s enrollment at St. Paul’s. Our school board has decided to keep our eligibility at the same cut off date which is December 4."
