Looking for other mommies to be friends with.

Hi all.  Nice to meet you via online! I'm a new mom w/2.5 month old baby. I'm also a stay-home mommy w/no family and friends around the area. I would love to meet other moms out there... Is there any activities coming up soon? :) I'm starting to feel very lonely, being a stay home mom w/an infant, even though I love him so much! Please let me know if there is any weekly event such as walking around the park, mall, picnic, etc. Thank you.

hi anna! i am new to this oc mommies website. have you had any luck with finding some weekly events? pottery barn has story times and the local library that you can go to for free. other things like music and play classes i think there are some thru the city - check lauguna niguel, lake forest and irvine.  i'm always looking for some events too since i just had a baby boy. i think he is close to your baby's age. he is now 3 months. hope to meet sometime! :)

Are you on Facebook? Look at Belly Sprout they have a lot of different classes/ groups for moms with babies. I personally hold a lactation lounge there on Thursdays from 1-2. It's a chance to get out of the house to mingle with other moms. If you have any questions let me know. You can also visit my website mommasnaturalinstincts.com hope this helps :). It's so important to get out and mingle. Being a new mom does get lonely.

Also check our calendar at Granola Babies ~ there's also a breastfeeding support group, but also Mommy Support Group (the mamas on that group end up all becoming friends and continue getting together long after the group series), there's pregnancy support, lots of classes for mommies and babies such as Gymboree and more. And this group itself has tons of activities too. :)

Hi Anna! OMG I know exactly what you are going through! I went through the same thing! I just moved to Laguna Niguel about a year ago when I was prego and have been so busy prepping for the baby and then taking care of her after she was born that I never really went out and met people. So if you want to meet up, I am down for whatever!

My name is Missy I noticed you said you live in Anaheim. I am also in Anaheim and would love to make some new mommy friends that are close by. I will be attending the picnic on June 7th maybe we can talk a bit and plan some play dates my daughter is 7 months old :0)

Anna, Carmela, Kat. we have a playdate on Wed! Most of us are moms of 2 with our infants all born between March 15 and May 12, and our oldest 2.5, Please come! I know its not quite the same as a infant paydate only. but we would LOVE to meet you girls!!
