Hi mamas,
My son's preschool, Irvine Community Nursery School, is holding a special preview for prospective students. It's a great way to check out the school, meet the teachers, and get a feel for what a typical day at school is like.
ICNS is a co-op preschool, meaning every family is required to work in the classroom throughout the year, as well as hold a job at the school (these can range from large to small). My son and I took the Mommy & Me class when he was two, and now he's in his second full year of regular preschool. It is a play-based school that teaches children the concepts and skills they need to prepare them for kindergarten. Through art, stories, song, dance, dramatic play, outdoor activities, and more, the kids are constantly learning and having fun.
So here are the details for the previews:
Date: Thursday, February 16 OR Tuesday, February 28 (choose one)
Time: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Where: Irvine Community Nursery School, 14341 Yale Ave, Irvine CA 92604
Who: Prospective preschoolers and a parents (siblings welcome)
RSVPs Required to Attend: Contact Lauren Chandler at LRThorpe1@yahoo.com (be sure to include your name, # of adults and # of children in your message)
More Info: www.icns.us
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or Lauren. I can't say enough good things about the school and highly recommend it!
Children must turn 3 years old by December 2, 2012 to enroll for the 2012-2013 school year.
