We are considering enrolling our LO in KinderCare facility in Irvine under the infant class. I am hoping to get some feedback regarding the facility on Paseo Westpark.
Thanks!

I have heard mixed reviews.  We have a lot of friends that used the Jewish Community Center and were very happy with the care.  If you need a nanny I would be glad to help you too.

Hi Carmela,

My son goes to Kindercare Westpark and has been there about 5 months so far.  I'm happy to provide you some input if you like.  Please message me.

Hi Carmela.

I would be interested to know how everything is going for you at Kindercare.  Thank you very much.

I have heard the same mixed reviews myself (actually more negative than positive). I live here in Irvine, and have several friends  with Infants that decided to have an in-home nanny vs. some of the local daycare's. Personally, I was looking for a preschool/daycare over a year ago that offered both infant/toddler programs when I had my second son and it was hard to find a place especially for infant care that I felt comfortable with. So I went with an in-home daycare simply because based on referral from a close friend that I trusted (whom I would recommend, however she recently retired). Before that, my older son was at the Childtime in Irvine (which was short lived and I wasn't crazy about either). Once my youngest turned preschool age, I moved them both into a LePort Montessori School and I seriously love, love, love them.  My 25 month old amazes me every day with how quickly he is advancing (speaking full sentences, singing ABC's, colors, counting...sadly more quickly than my 4 year old!), and they have only attended LePort for a few months. I never knew the true Montessori difference and wish I could have introduced both of my boys when they were infants too. This whole new way of learning for my children and parenting for me has been life changing. I highly recommend you look into LePort Schools.

So I know you have an Infant...

If you can hold out until this September, LePort will be offering an Infant Montessori Program at 2 locations, one in Huntington Beach where my boys currently attend and the other at their newest location opening by the Irvine Spectrum. The great thing is your baby will grow right into their Montessori pre-primary program. I know of a few other LePort parents who will be enrolling their infants into the program as well if we want me to try and connect you with one of them.

Check out these links and I hope this helps! Feel free to message me if you want to chat some more. I was where you are just  a year and half ago and wow does time fly! Good luck and enjoy every moment of your baby.

I'm not a fan of the infant room. I enrolled my son when he was 10 months. Although, the faculty was great the room was not. They leave lights on when the babies sleep. There isn't shading so when the babies are trying to fall asleep it almost seems impossible. My son was neurologically colicky so this environment didnt work for him very well. In addition, each KC runs differently. I had to pull my son out at 2 years because the faculty he didn't mesh well with the Staff at the Talega KC. However he loved the staff at the LN KC. Good luck. I feel there are other facilities out there that are better. Stay away from cooperate daycares.

I was looking at this one and Kiddie Academy in Irivne and we went with Kiddie Academy. He's only been there a few weeks but I love it. The front staff are kind of rude but the teachers in the infant room are awesome! You can tell they really love what they do and are great at it. I text Tanner's teacher during the day to see how he's doing and she always replies right away. Plus you can log in online to watch.

I worked at Kindercare in Laguna Niguel horrible.  I quite because it was so bad.  The kids were handed paci's that had fallen on the floor.  I came back from my lunch break and there was a child left outside in a tunnel that had cried himself to sleep.  I as a mother will never ever send my childrent o a KIndercare!  I used to be a preschool teacher and I can tell you this.  Stay away from corporate or chain preschools.

Here's an update on LePort Schools Montessori Infant Care Program. I have been in the classrooms and met the teachers in the Huntington Harbor campus (where my boys attend) and highly recommend. My boys are in the preschool program, however my sister in law is due with her first child in January and is signing up for the program for when she returns to work. By the way, LePort Schools is a privately run group of schools founded and based in Orange County. They are VERY well run, a true Montessori and highly referred schools...all of their Irvine preschools are typically wait listed, which is why I drive all the way to Huntington Beach so my boys can attend. Check out their website and even Facebook page for great parent information and resources.
