We go to Tutor Time in Laguna Niguel. We really love it. The baby class was amazing and honestly, I was kind of sad to see my Keeley move up to the toddler class. However, she is thriving in that class and her language development has been out of sight.
The teachers in the baby class are great, Keeley loves going back in the late afternoon when the numbers are lower. She sometimes cries when I pick her up because she doesn't want to leave.
Good luck with your search.
Hope that your visits went well at both places!

I looked at Kinder Care and I was not impressed from an educational standpoint. I teach kids with learning differences and it was all I could do to not run out of the place. From 2 years up, KC is open concept and it your child has any attention issues it would be a nightmare. It was really loud in there as well and I'm used to loud 6-8 graders on a daily basis. I also just flat out didn't like that there seemed to be a lack of recognition of the kids creativity, everything looked canned and the same, almost as if the kids were told to do it one way and one way only. I'm all about my kiddo exploring what she loves and finding her strengths. That is what makes people successful! Honestly, I'm counting the days until she is old enough to go to PK at my school because our PK teacher is amazing and I know she will thrive there.
Don't get me wrong, I love TT and I am so happy my Keeley is doing so well. She has a little group of friends and is happy to be there everyday, which makes it easy for me to go to work. I miss her dearly everyday, but in the back of my mind I keep thinking she is having fun and someday she will need to go to college :)
Good luck with your search and if you need someone to just talk to about sending your little one off to school, let me know.

Hi Christina. I'm going through the same thing now like you were in January. About to check out both places next week. Could you please tell me why you chose TT over KC? My son will be a year in mid May and I will be going back to work shortly thereafter. He's been with me exclusively and it's almost time to let my baby go...sad...
Is Riley liking TT?
Mary, did you even consider KC before deciding on TT?

Thank you soo much for getting back to me. I toured both places and found TT to be more to my liking. I also toured Mission Montessori (based on TOP ratings by OCMommies under Mommy Referrals) and I fell in love! It's out of the way because I live in Aliso Viejo and my work location is in Newport Beach...but, thus far, I think it will be worth it! Do you know anyone whose kids are going there? And, YES!, would love to talk to you more about sending my little one off for the first time. Sniff, sniff...

Hi Courtney! Sorry for the late reply I have been having issues with my home computer. We absolutely love Tutor Time in Laguna Niguel. The staff members there are great and I feel more than comfortable leaving my daughter with them. I know my daughter loves it too because most of the time she gets upset when it's time to go. My husband and I researched the majority of the local daycares and felt most comfortable with Tutor Time and do not regret our decision one bit.
