CPR training
Hey ladies!
Just wanted to post about CPR training, hope you don't mind me sharing.
Long story short, had the most frightening moment of my life a few weeks back with my 2 yr old that involved calling 911. I had let my CPR certification lapse, and truthfully, even though I don't work in the hospital anymore, where they require it for RNs, I should still be recertifying routinely. In any case that incident prompted me to go get recertified and just took an awesome class today.
Even though CPR and even RN training flies out the window when it's your own child, can't recommend enough that every parent take CPR training. You never know when you might need it!

OMG! I hope everything's ok! I missed the basic CPR class a few weeks back and I'm a constantly worrying because I can't imagine being in a situation where I'd need to use it on Olivia. I definitely need to take a class. Where did you take yours?

I've contacted surefirecpr.com before and they said if we got 5 that wanted to take the class together we could do a private class here at my store. If anyone is interested, let me know!

I took Danielle's class (OCM class) a few weeks ago and couldn't believe that I had gone all this time without knowing first aid and CPR. Seriously something could happen ANYTIME and it's so scary!

Danielle, do you teach it yourself? The surefirecpr.com cost is kind of high - $59 and covers adult and infant cpr and also first aid. But, I think I saw Danielle's class was like $20? Which would be much nicer!

Danielle actually teaches the classes. She is the main instructor at Misson Hospital for all of their classes. She is also our group advisor..she's a GREAT instructor!
