3-4 year old boys to get together?

My son is 3.5 and he's just started to show that he NEEDS some buddies to play with on a consistent basis! :o( I brought him to the park today around 6-7pm and it was pretty quiet and we went home shortly. At bedtime he asked me to make some phone calls tomorrow so that when we went to the park, he'd have someone to play with! Broke my heart! :o(

Soooo, we live in Irvine. The closest park to us is Sweet Shade and the next closest is Bill Barber Park. We are a hop and a skip away from the District. That's where we are!

Are there any mommies in the area (or next town over) wanting to get together too for our kiddos to play?

I also have a 1.5 year old daughter who runs after her brother and they are *just* starting to get along and play, sort of. LOL.

I have a 4 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. We live in Irvine too, near Culver & Irvine Blvd (Northwood area). Starting next week, Josh will be in school MWF mornings. We could meet up on a Thursday morning or most afternoons around 4:30 (after nap). Let me know.

Is your son going to be in preschool this year?

Hi Karen! What time in the morning is good for you? My kids wake anywhere from 7-9am. Afternoons after 4:30 sounds good for my son but sometimes my daughter gets tired around then. Do you have a favorite park or kid-spot? We have a pass to the Discovery Science Center so go as much as we can (once or twice a month usually), hit up Mission Viejo Mall, IKEA... Pop up fountains at Spectrum. If it's not too hot the park is always first choice.

Logan is not in school yet. His birthday is in February so he will be one of the older kids in his class b/c cut-off is November/December usually!! I just found this out last week! :oP

I dragged my feet really on looking b/c I felt like Logan could be home with me but preschool would be fabulous on the social interaction. I just saw a flyer at Sweet Shade Park about Mornings with Miss Tammy. I have to find out if that is still going on for this Fall. I heard from another mommy that it was cancelled.

Hi I have a son that will be 4 in November and an 11 month old baby boy. They both love the park. We live in woodbridge and have many fun parks here too if you would like to try them. My oldest starts preschool on Sept 15 tues and thurs. So Mondays are really good for us and afternoons M- F are good too.

Sorry- I know this is an old post but we JUST moved to the same area- we go to sweet shade park most afternoons :) I have a just turned 4 year old son that could really use some friends too! Also have a 2 year old daughter. Please email me so we can set something up- we go there most afternoons around 2:30pm. Sweet Shade is usually super busy at that time so it is really fun for the kids. Email me when you get a chance :)
