About National Gymnastics Classes for Preschool

PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS
Our Preschool gymnastics program is for children 12 months through 5 years
GOALS: The program in all classes emphasizes certain common goals:
1. To provide a SAFE, FUN, SUPPORTIVE ENVIROMENT in which the children can experience maximum growth
2. To stress the development of SELF ESTEEM and SELF CONFIDENCE by designing skills at which the child will be successful
3. To lead children in exploring and learning motor skills that directly relate to gymnastics, preparing a strong background in basic skills.
4. To HELP CHILDREN practice and DEVELOP SKILLS including waiting for turns, dealing with other children, as well as language skills including colors, counting and prepositions (up, down, over, under etc). We aim to help with listening skills and following directions.

Kiddie Fun Gym ages 12months to 18months. Parent participation is required. The class is 30 minutes.

Parent and Me ages 18months to 2 1/2 years. Parent participation is required. The class is 30 minutes.

Tiny Tots ages 2 1/2 years to 3 1/2 years. Students work without parents. The class is 30 minutes. Students will graduate to Preschool only with the coaches’ recommendation.

Preschool ages 3 1/2 years to 5 years. Morning classes are 60 minutes, afternoon classes are 45 minutes.
