Event Description

Hi mommas! I don't know about you, but I love myself some good ol' home cookin'! However, spending hours in the kitchen making fine gourmet dishes are a thing of the past now that little ones are in the picture. But, that doesn't mean we compromise our taste buds! The theme of this recipe exchange is come prepared to show off your best 30 - 45 minute dish (that's total for prep and cook time). Each person will bring a dish already prepared and ready to eat, and then will give a copy of the recipe to everyone to take home! I'll be serving up mimosas for all to enjoy while we munch on several dishes (so come with an appetite). The idea is for people to bring 75% main course dishes and 25% everything else (desserts, appetizers, soups, salads, etc.) so in order for us to achieve this, as soon as you rsvp, please post what you will be bringing and adjust according to the other posts. Ria Martinson has graciously offered her beautiful home for us to have this event, but FYI, her home is not childproofed should you decide to bring your baby. As it gets closer to the event, I will email all those who rsvp, giving you an idea of how many copies of your recipes we will be needing for the attendants. Until then, Bon Appetit!

I'm still a maybe but I'll see if I can arrange babysitting for a couple hours. It'd be nice to get out and meet new gals! This is totally up my alley - well except for the cooking part (I'm not the chef of the household lol).

Basically we're going to be eating, sharing our dishes, and socializing. So if you feel like you can do that while having your baby with you, by all means, bring him/her!! Looking forward to meeting you!
